An Upcycled Dog Coat For Flint The Pit

Some days I blog about random things. Things I love. Things I'm proud of. Today is just one of those days.

This is the upcycled dog coat I made Flint the Pit from a herringbone tweed coat once belonging to my brother. I dismantled it and sewed it back together, doggy style. This was made in the midst of this miserable winter past, out of desperation from not finding a dog coat that fits his thick neck and broad shoulders like most pure bull breeds have. I think he likes it. And my sewing skills are getting better. Thanks for your contribution, David...( who now lives in sunny California and no longer needs coats! ;)

Please feel free to share your handmade dog coats in the comments below, I'd love to see them!
