Floor Plan Renderings Designed For a TV Pilot...

Hello my fellow interior design enthusiasts! I've been really excited to share with you a new project that I had the opportunity to partake in recently. I attended a private film screening event hosted by NY-based production company LPZ Media, where clips of a TV pilot for a new interior design show was premiered. Filming took place in Harlem where NYC actress/model Ren Croney designed the transformation of a small apartment into a functional & spacious urban retreat for a modern growing family. The concept for the upcoming show focuses on the identity issues small apartments experience in the Big Apple, and Ren offers up a fresh spin on the term "multi-functional" with home furnishings that serve several re-purposed purposes.

So in helping Ren with the designs of this Harlem apartment, my job was to draw up the plans for the space with a hand-drafted floor plan and elevation of the North wall.

The pilot can't be published unless it gets picked up by a network, and if it does there will surely be a part two so you can see my drawings debuted.

You can also see Ren in action on HGTV's new show Flea Market Flip where teams have an hour to shop for flea market items that they will re-purpose and compete to resell for the most profit at a NYC flea market. Follow the link to watch The Battle of The Green Chaise. I would love to get on that show with Mr. B somehow! I think we make a winning team...

Until next time,
